William Travis Jewelers and Glee Kids to open at University Mall
Chapel Hill, NC - Award winning jeweler, William Travis Jewelry will occupy a new 3,000 square foot space in University Mall. The space was re-demised from a former 15,000 drug store. The fifth generation metal smith and designer known for quality custom work and unique designs attracts a wide variety of clientele from art and film celebrities to international visitors. Most recently William Travis Jewelers was awarded the prestigious Platinum Innovation Spectrum Award by the American Gem Trade Association. The showroom and studio are scheduled to open this spring. William Travis Jewelry will be one of four new shop spaces created to meet local demand for smaller, outward facing shops in the Triangle region.
Glee Kids, a children’s boutique will celebrate the Grand Opening of their new location at University Mall Saturday, February 9. The 1,241 square foot interior space has been completely remodeled to showcase the popular brands of children’s clothing and shoes that attract clientele from Raleigh and beyond. Owner Noelle Garstka purchased the popular children's clothing and gift shop last year. After five years in its previous location, Glee Kids needed a new home. Garstka chose University Mall for a number of reasons but parking and access to children’s programming offered by the mall were at the top of the list. “So many of our customers are already at the mall,” said Garstka, referring to the mall’s popular Kids Club and activities geared to families with young children. Glee Kids will continue to be a destination store for Tea brand of children's clothing and other popular brands such as Wonderboy, Appaman, Winter Water Factory, Pink Chicken, City Threads, Toobydoo and Nui Organics. They also offer several children’s shoe lines such as Tsukihoshi, Birkis, Superga, Morgan and Milo.
